Our terms and conditions must be read.

Prices

Unless otherwise noted, all prices are quoted in Australian Dollars.

Payment – Deposit

A minimum 50% deposit is required at the time of making your Booking. Payment using our "real-time" booking web page or by telephone or fax can be made using VISA or Master Card. Alternatively you can Direct Debit your payment.

Payment – Balance

Balance is due in full 60 days prior to arrival. Bookings made less than 90 Days in advance of occupancy date must be fully paid at the time of making the booking.

Booking Confirmation

Bookings for accommodation, 4 x 4 Rental Vehicle, Transfers, Lift Passes, Equipment Hire and other services will be confirmed via email upon receipt of the deposit.

Cancellations / Refunds

Cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellations made prior to 60 days of the occupancy date will receive a full refund, less any administration fees. Cancellations that are less than 60 days before arrival will incur a 100% cancellation fee of the total booking amount. Insurance covering cancellation is strongly advised. Snow Ski Japan and/or its agents reserves the right, without notice, to modify, cancel or withdraw any or all of the arrangements and in this event the full amounts paid will be returned to the customer. Snow Ski Japan and/or its agents reserve the right to decline or to accept or retain any person as a member of any party at any time.

Amendments

Amendments must be received in writing/email at least 60 days prior to arrival. The cancellation conditions will apply in full.

Motor Vehicle

A "complimentaery" or "rental" 4x4 Motor Vehicle may be included in this ski accommodation package. Insurance and unlimited kilometers are included. The driver must: be 26 Years of age, have held a full drivers license for at least 12 months and must have an International Drivers License. A separate agreement relating to the use of teh Motor vehicle is required. The customer / driver is responsible for all damage to or theft of the vehicle. The standard damage excess on this vehicle is Aus$1,800.00. Insurance excess protection is often included in travel insurance policies or in some instances may be covered by Credit Card providers. Collection of Rental Vehicle

A Credit Card imprint or Cash Deposit is required upon collection of your vehicle. You are liable for any charges incurred in the late return of your vehicle (24 hour clock operates) No refunds are payable should you return your vehicle before the specified time. Your vehicle is required to have a full petrol tank at the time of drop off, otherwise your credit card or cash deposit will be billed accordingly.

Costs: Inclusions / Exclusions

Snow Ski Japan will show all inclusions / costs on the booking receipt. Any items not shown on the booking receipt are not included.

Property Damage

Our customers must accept responsibility for and incur all costs for replacement or repair of any damage to Niseko Star Chalet or Midori Chalet (building and contents) by the guest or anybody in the guest’s party or duty of care. Normal wear and tear is excluded. A credit card imprint on arrival is required.

Transportation

Snow Ski Japan may include transfers to and from Niseko / Hirafu in its booking costs. Third party transport operators provide this transportation. Snow Ski Japan accepts no responsibility for any delays, accidents or incidents that affect our customers. No refunds of accommodation costs or any other related services will be given if the customers are unable to arrive on the day of predetermined booking including travel being impaired by weather conditions and like-wise Snow Ski Japan and/or its agents will not be responsible for providing additional accommodation in the event that customers are prevented from leaving Niseko / Hirafu due to unforeseen circumstances including weather.

Passports and Visas

Snow Ski Japan is not responsible for necessary passports and visas. Japanese visa requirements vary greatly for individual countries. Contact the Japanese consulate in your country for more information.

Insurance

We strongly recommend that all of our customers take out Standard Travel Insurance that covers medical expenses, personal accident, loss of deposit and cancellation fees, damage, loss and theft of baggage etc. We recommend 1Cover Australia for Ski / Travel Insurance packages for Australians skiing in Australia and overseas.

Snow Conditions

Snow Ski Japan is not responsible for the weather. It should be understood that we cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for snow conditions. No accommodation booking can be cancelled, altered or amended on the basis of weather conditions.

Information Packages

Maps, timetables and other information that is provided to assist our customers may not be to scale or accurate and is provided only as a guide. Snow Ski Japan accepts no responsibility if the information is inaccurate.

Meals

Snow Ski Japan does not provide any meals. Niseko Star Chalet and Midori Chalet both have modern kitchen facilities and foodstuffs may be purchased at the local supermarket. Alternatively guests can take advantage of the many restaurants in the local area.

Lift Passes

Lift passes may be included in our accommodation packages. No refunds will be given for any unused days or parts of days. Snow Ski Japan accepts no responsibility related to lift passes or lift operations.

No Smoking policy

Smoking is not permitted in any of Snow Ski Japan’s luxury accommodation. Snow Ski Japan reserves the right to evict from the building any person or persons not adhering to this policy without any refund for remaining days.

Limited Liability

Snow Ski Japan will not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity that may be caused to person or property however caused or arising, during their arrival, stay or return from Niseko / Hirafu. Where Snow Ski Japan or its agents assists customers in the purchase of third party goods or services, or to participate in third party activities, it does not warrant those goods or services, nor does it accept any liability resulting from the purchase or participation in those goods or services.

Privacy Statement

Snow Ski Japan is the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Any and all customer contact information, including but not limited to contact details, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, or mailing addresses provided to Snow Ski Japan will only be used by Snow Ski Japan to carry on its business.
