We went to Japan to snowboard and stayed with Snow Ski Japan. The trip there was long, but well worth the effort as when you arrive you are greeted buy your host who takes you straight to your accommodation and runs through everything, gives you some much needed local knowledge and directions to all that you'll need, its pretty straight forward.

Once you settle in, and settle in you do, the accommodation is five star has ever thing the traveler needs and wants. From large comfortable beds to satellite t.v and internet connections for those of you who just cant leave work at home. If you just want a lazy day at home, set the central heating to a comfortable temperature and choose a dvd from the large selection made available. The kitchen had every thing we needed and was easy to work in when we were at home! The dry room was a good size and accommodated all of our gear.

The car was a much needed extra, although every thing is within walking distance i.e. : bars, restaurants, onsen and ski slopes, the car just lets you explore other slopes, bars, restaurants and onsens, and believe me just when you think it cant get any better and all is great in your village just around the mountain there is so much more to experience.

I've been twice now, the first time was with the boys which was great fun, we never just sat around doing nothing, there was always something to do including night boarding. The second time was with my wife and 2 year old and it was great fun. Lots for the kids to do and see, we all had so much fun, it was a bit more relaxing, but still went boarding every day. The car was a must with the kids!

On a whole great accommodation, food, snow and atmosphere. I'll be back again for sure!
