Daily grooming, consistent snow and low temperatures all helps to create an awesome experience.

Off Piste - Niseko's dry powder is unrivalled and definitely the best ! Endless kilometres of off-piste countryside to explore - in fact there's about 30 square kilometers of back country for the adventurous.

Lifts are open from 8.30am and you can ski all day and on into the night under lights until 8.45pm.

Niseko boasts one of the longest seasons in the northen hemisphere. Lifts start running from late November/early December thru to 5th May (Golden Week) Peak season is from Christmas through to end of February, however conditions are great in Spring and are a great option if you cant visit during the peak season – lower prices apply too !

Niseko Testimonial

What our Customers say about their Niseko Experience.

Barry & Sue - Perth

What a blast! Snow Skiing in Japan was a huge step up over my Oz experience and way exceeded our expectations! From daily deluges of powder snow to hot soaking Onsens, from peak to bottom uncrowded runs, skiing in Niseko with SSJ was just so trouble free. As first timers to Japan, we found SSJ had total local knowledge and the all important local presence and took care of all the critical things. Star Chalet had more than we needed and use of a car with all-weather tyres gave us safe and ready access to alternative ski fields so we could ski whenever, wherever and find great places to eat. Thoroughly recommended for a well organized, relaxed all fun skiing holiday destination.

Accommodation is five star... Large comfortable beds, satellite t.v, internet. If you want a lazy day at home.. choose a DVD from the large selection made available. Felt like home! The car was great lets you explore other resorts, restaurants and onsens. definitely a must if you have kids!

Amanda Castle - Dec 2009

Thank you for all your help. Midori Chalet was fantastic... close enough to walk to restaurants, night clubs, onsens and the supermarket... far enough away to enjoy the feeling of a small Japanese village. Thank you for recommending the onsen...

Star Chalet was fantastic, it had all the amenities and comforts of home... The powder snow was unbelievable Awesome!  Onsens --- all our aches and pains of the day just melted away. We would highly recommend booking another holiday with SSJ.

We have travelled through Europe, but this is the best we’ve had yet!  We love Japan, the accommodation was perfect for our family. The car was a lifesaver with the kids as was the babysitting service. Hope we can get back there soon. Thanks for all your help.
